With the SV-250, Yamaha sets new standards in sound and feel. Due to the reduced weight to that of an acoustic violin, you can switch between your acoustic and the SV-250 more easily than ever before. The innovative dual pickup concept allows you to mix the sound quality of a typical electric violin with a warm acoustic sound.The external control box contains a professional preamp, volume, treble and bass controls.Further details such as ground lift switch, switchable -26dB cut and an additional balanced output (XLR) round off the professional features. The handmade surface is made of spruce with brown shaded colouring on the front, back and neck are made of flamed maple, also with brown shaded colouring.
