The ensembles of the SYNCHRON-ized Chamber Strings consist of 21 instruments (6 first violins, 6 second violins, 4 violas, 3 cellos and 2 basses), which not only cover the classical repertoire of chamber music, but can also enrich large string ensembles, such as those of the Synchron Strings I, with diverse nuances, colours and variations. For the development of SYNCHRON-ized Chamber Strings, the sound editors of the Vienna Symphonic Library reverted to the original, unedited Silent Stage recordings of the Chamber Strings I collection. The raw sound data was completely reworked, re-edited and remastered to achieve a new, modern string sound that reaches new standards in terms of sound, aesthetics and playability. The original legato articulations have been enhanced with additional velocity layers, such as molto espressivo forte variations.
