With the Sub12, Focal presents the most powerful subwoofer to date It is equipped with a completely new 13-inch woofer that offers even more articulation and definition thanks to its efficient design and is characterized by a very low frequency response and very low distortion. The BASH amplifier delivers 600W of RMS power and 1000W of peak power. The cabinet design features optimized bracing and reinforcements, as well as a front-firing bass reflex port, based on the company's Trio11 monitors but with additional internal and external protrusions to reduce mechanical noise and distortion. There are large handles on the sides of the cabinet to make it easier for two people to move the 58 kg unit. A full set of bass management controls on the back of the Sub12 allows you to set the perfect low-end settings for any system setup: variable low-pass, high-pass and phase. The rear panel also features switches for polarity, +4dBu or -10dBv sensitivity, auto standby bypass, LFE input, and full range. The Sub12 also features Focal's footswitch control input, which can be used to switch one or more Sub12 units connected in series.
