With the LP-8, the Californian manufacturer expands the Lone Pine series with a powerful 8 nearfield monitor. With a power of 60W, the 8 woofer is characterised by particularly tight basses and linear mids, which, in combination with the 1 soft dome tweeter, create a linear and particularly transparent sound image.The 3D imaging waveguide technology, which was developed especially for the Lone Pine series, makes it possible, thanks to the built-in DSP processor, to realise large imaginary stages with only one pair of speakers, as is otherwise only known from high-priced studio & hi-fi systems. To ensure transparency and linearity even in the lower frequencies, an innovative bass reflex system was designed which, due to its size and shape, guides the escaping air out of the speaker system evenly and in a controlled manner, so that no turbulence is created that could raise frequencies or create noise in the cabinet.
