The Dynaudio Core 7 is an uncompromising high-end reference monitor. Its powerful Class D amplifiers and state-of-the-art DSP technology enable a balanced sound right down to the deep bass range. The quality of these monitors is evident in many details. The drivers are handmade in Denmark. The newly developed Esotar Pro tweeters allow for long sessions without humming. Optimisation of the airflow prevents unwanted resonances and thus smoothes the frequency response. The bass and midrange drivers are also packed with advanced technology. Dynaudio's proprietary diaphragm material provides the optimum combination of rigidity, damping and lightness. Aluminium voice coils on glass fibre coil carriers and state-of-the-art magnet concepts ensure that the midrange and bass reproduction is detailed, powerful and precise.Inside the Core 7, the sound is further optimised using DSP. The internal resolution is 192 kHz at 64 bit. However, the operation is very simple. Different positioning of the monitor near hard surfaces such as walls can be corrected by appropriate filters. This is familiar from many monitors, but the Core 7 uses special filters that do not affect the phase response of the speaker.The Core 7's cabinet is extremely rigid and robust. A 32mm thick baffle ensures optimum linearity over the entire frequency response. With all these features, the Dynaudio Core 7 is a high-end reference monitor with compact dimensions.
