Solid State Logic Fusion
Fusion combines six newly developed signal processors that refine a stereo sum with analogue timbres. This makes Fusion ideal as an outboard processor for modern hybrid studios. Vintage Drive produces the typical saturation and smooth compression that occurs when analogue circuits are lightly overdriven. The Drive and Density controls can be used to create both subtle and extreme effects. The Violet EQ is a completely new developed shelving EQ with which shimmering highs and powerful lows can be realised. With the High Frequency Compressor, harsh highs can be controlled. This creates the creamy smooth sounds that you are used to from analogue tape machines. The Stereo Image Enhancer is an analogue MS matrix that allows you to manipulate the width of the stereo panorama. A special treat is the Transformer section. Here a transformer can be inserted into the signal path that slightly boosts bass frequencies and causes a phase shift of the highs. The result is warm B&W and sparkling highs. The Listen Mic Compressor delivers the familiar punchy compression that was a major influence on the drum sound of the 80s. In Fusion, parallel compression can also be implemented via a Dry/Wet control.
