The SVM is ideal for users of digital video cameras who do not want to do without professional studio quality sound. The Stereo VideoMic also does an excellent job in boom operation and reportage. The two supercardioid capsules are installed in a perfect X/Y configuration and deliver a convincing stereo sound image. The wide transmission range, the low self-noise and the fur windscreen, which is included and indispensable for outdoor recordings, guarantee an optimal recording sound. An elastic suspension is integrated, which eliminates disturbing structure-borne noise. If necessary, the switchable high-pass filter can be used to additionally suppress low interference frequencies. After switching on the pre-attenuation, the Stereo VideoMic can transmit even extremely loud signals without distortion. The microphone is powered by a 9 V battery. The SVM is 17 cm long and has an on/off switch and a battery control LED. A special fur windscreen is included in the scope of delivery.
