This high-quality, universally applicable condenser microphone in a stereo set impresses with an ideal price/performance ratio. The features of the MC 930 are the wide frequency response of 40 - 20,000 Hz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 71 dB. The MC 930 is ideal for miking choirs, orchestras and solo instruments. Thanks to the switchable pre-attenuation of 15 dB, it is also ideally suited for use with very high sound pressure levels. The switchable bass cut of 6 dB/octave at 250 Hz compensates for the proximity effect. Together with the WS 101 windscreen, the MC 930 can be used as a microphone for vocal applications and as a speaker's microphone. The MC 930 operates on a phantom power supply of 11 - 52 V and can therefore be used in live applications as well as in installations. Due to its frequency-independent cardioid pick-up pattern, the MC 930 has an excellent directivity combined with a high rear cancellation. This not only makes it a first-class tool in the studio, but also allows it to be used in sound reinforcement applications where excellent sound and maximum resistance to feedback are important.
