In addition, the AT4022's omnidirectional polar pattern makes it ideal for ensemble recording, stereo recording, and group and backing vocals.The AT4022's omnidirectional polar pattern allows maximum sound pickup from virtually any direction. The built-in 80 Hz high-pass filter allows easy switching from linear frequency response to low-end roll-off. The roll-off position provides excellent protection against pop and "S" sounds and ensures virtually distortion-free reproduction at low frequencies.
