The 4 integrated mic preamps with up to 60 db of gain share the same discrete circuit design of the entire Audient range including the ASP8024 Heritage Edition analogue console found in top studios around the globe. They offer precise and detailed recording, coupled with enough analogue warmth to add a little extra character to any source, making that small but crucial difference in the project.With its even more powerful next-generation AD/DA converter technology, including an optimised dynamic range, audio is reproduced more precisely than ever before. Remarkable clarity helps you hear even the subtlest details and make better mixing decisions. Equipped with two optical inputs and outputs, iD44 offers numerous expansion options. Thanks to ADAT and SPDIF support, up to 16 channels can be integrated into the setup via external mic preamps such as Audient ASP800 or ASP880 - ideal for larger sessions or live band tracking.
