The keyboard features a USB 3.0* hub so you can connect things like a mouse, phone, Contour Shuttle, or USB dongle. In addition, the ASTRA 2 features a full-size F-row and multimedia keys for full control and effectiveness. To power the keyboard, you need to plug in the gray USB connector. If you need to activate the USB hub, plug in the black USB connector on the back of the keyboard. The dedicated Logic keyboard for Pro Tools also has all the regular letter, number, and symbol labels you'd find on a traditional keyboard, so it can easily be used as a replacement. The keyboard connects easily and requires no software installation.
