The Compact Stagebox of the Vi series offers on 4 U, 19 format the possibility to transmit up to 64 signals bidirectionally. The basic configuration includes 32x Mic/Line preamps, 8x Line outputs and 8x AES/EBU output channels (4x XLR jacks). The inputs/outputs included in the stagebox are identical to those included in the Vi 1 and can be interchanged. In addition, the stagebox is optionally equipped with an RJ45 or optical SC MADI card for redundant multicore connection.An additional D21M dual card slot can accommodate all I/O cards of the Studer D21M DSP core (Vi series/Vista Local Rack). This allows expansion with all common I/O formats (Mic, Line, AES/EBU, Ethersound, CobraNet, Aviom, RockNet, ADAT and others). With an additional 19, 1 U XLR panel, a total of 5 U can accommodate 48x Mic/Line inputs and 16x Line outputs.
