The Shure SM87 A is a professional vocal microphone for use on stage and is very popular with professional vocalists. Since the Shure SM87 A is condenser-based, it offers excellent and crystal-clear sound. Due to the supercardioid pickup pattern, the SM87A is resistant to feedback and the internal vibration absorbers suppress handling noise and impact sound effects with flying colours.
Thanks to its excellent conversion and linear transmission range, the vocal microphone is also ideally suited for all voice applications in home recording.
