The SM63 is available in three versions: the SM63 (length 14.5 cm, champagne colour) as a handheld microphone on stage, radio, recording and TV studios. The SM63L (length 23 cm, champagne colour) and the SM63LB (length 23 cm, black) for off-stage interviews, sports broadcasts and other situations where longer microphones are needed. All three microphones are available at the same price. High speech intelligibility is achieved through an optimised frequency response. The bass roll-off and the integrated shock absorber minimise handling noise and impact sound. The integrated pop filter effectively reduces breathing noise, and a double-layer windscreen is optionally available for outdoor use. The built-in hum-cancelling coil makes the microphone insensitive to strong interference.
