Controller-controlled full-range line source for lifelike reproduction of speech and music in fixed indoor and outdoor installations. The loudspeaker has an especially wide horizontal dispersion characteristic for particularly even sound coverage and a strong vertical bundling for a high direct-to-diffuse sound ratio in reverberant environments. The line source is realised in such a way that the entire length of the loudspeaker is acoustically effective as a line source over all frequencies.
