The Body Pack XL functions identically to the Fischer Amps Hardwired In Ear Belt Pack, but has an additional microphone input so that you can add a microphone signal to the incoming stereo or mono mix. The built-in low-noise microphone preamp has standard features such as switchable 48V phantom power, a PAD switch to attenuate the input signal by 20 dB, a gain control from +12 dB to +60 dB and a switchable low-cut at 70 Hz. In addition, a parallel-out socket is provided for the microphone input, so that the microphone signal can be looped on. The unit is ideally suited as a compact in-ear solution, e.g. in an orchestra, when the musician wants to add his own microphone signal to the incoming in-ear signal. The unit is also excellent as a technician's tool for monitoring microphone signals.
