The Scan Operator FX II is the new top product of the GLP Scan Operator range. It offers all the familiar functions of the Scan Operator Advanced series, plus some new, extensive features paired with a distinctive new design. The GLP-developed hardware and software guarantees reliable and stable operation.12 different movement patterns (including circles, sine waves, triangle, random, etc.) can be automatically generated and stored in up to 240 cues with the new Effects Engine. The effect patterns can be changed independently for each fixture in type, size, speed and phase. In addition, the unit offers simple auxiliary functions to automatically generate various wave and random patterns. The effects generated by the effects engine are automatically played back on the channels configured as pan/tilt.The controller has 6 selective overlay scenes with their own hotkeys: each of these scenes can override previously freely defined channels. Another new feature is the Autostart Mode, which allows the user to save the current playback state completely, so that it is started automatically immediately after switching on the unit. In combination with the new Desklock mode, which prevents unauthorised access, the Scan Operator FX II is the ideal tool for all applications where automatic start-up or unattended operation of the unit is required. In addition, the extensive live control options offer perfect conditions for use in smaller clubs and discotheques. The responsive midi operation offers musicians and LJs the possibility to control a light show live via their midi synthesizers or keyboards.
