V3Sound V3 YAMMEX XXL
YAMMEX XXL is a MIDI expander with 620 sounds for Yamaha keyboard instruments. Compared to other models from V3 SOUND, there is one crucial difference: YAMMEX XXL has been specially developed for integration into the user interface of the keyboard. This means that you can play all sounds directly on the keyboard and adjust parameters such as volume, reverb, chorus or panorama. Sounds can be saved and recalled just as easily as if they came directly from the keyboard.
The Soundexpander offers state-of-the-art sample technology with 4 gigabyte flash memory, 11,400 samples and 256-voice polyphony. In order for the voices produced by YAMMEX XXL to be shown on the keyboard display, you only need to load the data we provide into the keyboard. Since the amount of data is only about 0.5 megabytes, the memory of the keyboard remains almost completely intact. The actual sounds, in which more than 20 sound designers were involved, are stored in the flash memory of the YAMMEX XXL. You cannot fill this flash memory with your own sounds.
