Akai Professional MPC X
The X is supported by MPC 2.0, the update to the Akai Professional MPC software. MPC 2.0 can run on the MPC X in standalone mode or when the X is connected to the computer üvia PC and Mac. New features in version 2.0 include: Audio Track Recording, an improved Time Stretch (Time Warp) algorithm, better Q-Link operation and an Audio/MIDI Drag & Drop function all presented on a brand new graphical interface.

Force and MPC are now pre-configured for deep, tactile control of Ableton Live, allowing clip launching, mixer panel operation and, of course, control of Ableton instruments. Ableton Live Control works wirelessly over Wi-Fi networks via Ableton Link. This level of Ableton Live integration is unprecedented in the standalone segment. Ableton Live Control mode is specifically designed to allow users to switch between standalone and Live Control in a flash, without ever having to interrupt the playback of the respective environment.
