In the tradition of West Coast synthesizers, Verbos offers a capacitive touchplate controller with three independent sections: a 32-key keyboard set to 1volt/octave, a bender, and an 8-key keyboard with variable output voltages per key. The touchplates are gold-plated and partly backlit.

The module can either be built into a Eurorack frame or operated separately with an external power supply. The main part of the module consists of a keyboard with 32 keys arranged according to the usual chromatic piano arrangement. The keys are tuned to 1V/octave and generate four signals simultaneously: note CV, pressure CV, gate and a 10ms trigger. Actually, it is not the pressure of the fingers that is measured, but how much skin area touches the touchplates. Three separate touchplates are used for octave transposition, the active octave touchplate glows red.
