The Wow and Flutter is basically a classic delay with feedback. If the WARP control is set to zero, the Wow and Flutter behaves like one. The delay time can not only be adjusted with the DLY controls, but can also be modulated by the audio signal depending on the dynamics and the sensitivity setting of the Wow & Flutter. If a threshold value set with the Threshold control (THRLD) is exceeded, an attack/decay curve starts, which changes the delay time. If you now turn up the warp control, the delay starts to oscillate, wobble etc.. The input level can be adjusted with the GAIN control, D/W controls the mixing ratio of original and effect signal. The signal at the OUT jack depends on the Dry/Wet control; the WET output carries only the effect signal. The delay time can be modulated via CV, the intensity is controlled by the DEPTH pot. There is also a CV input for modulating the decay time of the envelope and an external envelope follower input. The envelope follower can be tapped at the ENV O socket. Experimenting and feedbacking the envelope sockets with the audio outputs could result in wild sounds ;)
There are two feedback modes: in the upper switch position the W&F behaves quite tamely, in the lower one it oscillates very fast and allows for very dubby sounds. A jumper adjusts the behaviour of the envelope: in the FAST position the attack and decay times are much shorter.
