The M/S matrix converts stereo signals into M/S (Mid/Side) signals and vice versa. The stereo inputs and M/S outputs can be adjusted in level via controls. With this module, for example, a stereo signal can be narrowed in the base width or a mono signal can be derived. With additional compression of the side signal (deviating from the mid signal), ambiences can be created to the stereo signal.
