Ibanez is proud to introduce a renewed and re-engineered AE Series, the quintessential Bühnengitarre for the modern acoustic player. After years of research and development, Ibanez arrived at the formula for X-M bracing. The carefully designed X-bracing transfers string vibration clearly and efficiently from the bridge to the body. The redesigned, lightweight, curved bridge improves vibration efficiency for better resonance and offers more flexibility in adjusting string action. The redesigned AP11 pickup is small, lightweight and positioned so as not to interfere with the natural vibrations of the wood. The pickup delivers a lively response across the entire frequency range with minimal feedback. The sound is transparent and reflects the natural acoustic tone of the guitar while maintaining presence and midrange. The AP11 is also well suited for effects such as reverb, chorus and others, making it suitable for a variety of applications for modern players. The AE325 also features an under-saddle T-bar pickup. Mixing the pickups provides more pressure and better articulation of the sound. Two outputs (mono output / stereo output) allow the pickups to be used individually or together. The machine heads with an 18:1 ratio provide excellent tuning stability. A light finish allows the wood to breathe and contributes to a better overall sound. Luminescent side dots on the neck make it easier to find your way around the fretboard in low light conditions. The guitar is equipped with D'Addario XT Coated Custom Light-Gauge strings, which provide a balanced sound, clear hangs and excellent playability.
