Since its foundation in 1982, the German manufacturer Warwick has made a name for itself primarily with the high quality of its instruments and amplifiers (not for nothing do greats such as Robert Trujillo or Adam Clayton count among the endorsers of the Markneukirchen company). However, Warwick also produces strings for electric and acoustic basses, and these Red Labels are the company's inexpensive entry-level strings. The computer-designed stainless steel wires with their powerful and brilliant sound and their tonal longevity show that cheap does not necessarily mean bad.
