The pedals of the VOX VALVENERGY series are versatile analogue preamps for guitar, all of which are equipped with the new Nutube tube technology and thus are supposed to deliver the sound, the response and the playing feeling of conventional tube amps. Three operating modes allow for different applications, whether as a normal distortion unit, as a preamplifier in front of a power amplifier or for direct connection to mixers or audio interfaces.
A clever feature of the series is the specially developed CHANNEL SWITCH function. This makes it possible to connect several pedals from the VALVENERGY series with each other using a separate cable. Once this connection is made, activating one VALVENERGY pedal automatically deactivates all other VALVENERGY pedals. This simulates the switching of channels in a multi-channel amp, and the sound can be changed with a single foot press, which is of course especially advantageous for live use.
The VALVENERGY COPPERHEAD DRIVE delivers the sound of a famous British half-stack, which was the hard rock sound of the 80s, and can produce sounds from crunch to lead. The pedal has an integrated 3-band EQ with an additional bright switch, so that the desired sound can be adjusted in the usual way.
