Boutique distortion from Leipzig - hard to believe. Nevertheless, word is getting around more and more that official stuff is being produced in Saxony, with attention to detail, practical and away from the mainstream. The Diablo Dual from OKKO FX is a further development of the Diablo, which connoisseurs have appreciated for over ten years. The DUAL indicates that this little devil is a two-channel pedal.
The right footswitch activates the pedal, the left one activates the second channel. Both channels can be controlled separately in terms of gain and volume. By means of Dyn, the internal voltage can be regulated between 6 and 19 volts. Increasing the headroom results in less compression, tighter bass and more punch. Feed controls low frequencies in the input signal, allowing for tight and transparent sounds, even with the fattest neck pickups.
Inside the unit are other refinements.
A 3-position mini switch (Normal / Lowgain / Top Boost) adjusts the sensitivity of the input gain stage for the best interaction with the guitar. MIDS changes the frequencies in the tone control. Perfect for matching pedal and amp tone.
