The Fuzzly Bear 2 is a distortion pedal that, by its own admission, is based on an old cult object from the 70s, the classic Jordan Bosston. Of course, the manufacturer has improved a few things here, which gives the pedal a modern face. Using the middle Skin/Meat control, you can create sounds that range from fat or lean, from dirty overdrive to brute octa-fuzz. The part reacts sensitively to the guitar pot and velocity - not bad.
With Fuzzly Bear 2, KMA Machines has brought a newly interpreted fuzz into a modern, pedalboard-friendly housing with top-mounted jacks and enhanced it with relay-based, quiet switching and improved electronics.
