Ibanez TS9 40th Anniversary Tube Screamer
One of the most famous players was Stevie Ray Vaughan, who used the TS9 as a booster by boosting the amp to near saturation and turning the pedal volume up to full and gain way down.
Ibanez had tried it over the years with various derivatives (TS7, TS10), of which the Soundtank TS5 all in black plastic can be seen as a whimsical intermezzo.
The eventful history of this pedal, which wrote music history, prompted Ibanez to create a 40-year commemorative version that does the honours in all red. The pedal is manufactured in Japan, corresponds one-to-one to the original type and should, like its predecessor, provide reliable and indestructible service for many years.
