When he released the first Big Muff over 40 years ago, Mike Matthews surely did not know that he would create a technical legend. In the meantime, we have become accustomed to the fact that the concept of the distortion has been and continues to be developed in various directions and that a new Muff is reviewed in the trade journals at regular intervals. The Metal Muff, as the name suggests, was created for the hardest type of rock music. A powerful 3-band EQ, including a mid-range control and top boost, ensures an assertive sound even when the mids are turned down and the volume is deafening, which should serve the target group very well.As usual with Electro Harmonix, value was placed on a solid metal housing. The part can be operated either with a mains adapter or with a battery, which is included in the scope of delivery.
