It is not without reason that the BOSS Bluesdriver is one of the most popular pedals of the Japanese manufacturer. The warm, singing overdrive, which is reminiscent of the distortion of an amp, was very popular when it was first released in 1995 by guitarists such as Gary Moore and Eric Clapton, which is why the marketing strategists gave it the term "blues" in its name. With the Waza series, the manufacturer has set itself the goal of refining some of its bestsellers with Japanese custom manufacturing and additional functions. The BD-2w, for example, has a switchable custom mode that gives the signal more belly and fullness. The sound is more powerful and warmer due to the raised low-mids. The designers have adopted the exemplary dynamics of the "normal" Bluesdriver. The improved circuit brings out this feature even better. Guitar potentiometer and velocity can be used very well as a tried and tested stylistic device. The device comes in the robust construction typical of BOSS and has the usual five-year manufacturer's warranty.
