The LT-DIST uses Blackstar's patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) circuitry, which provides an extremely flexible tone control that covers the entire spectrum from American to British sounds. The ISF control works directly with the tone control to help you find the exact sound you want. When set to the left (counterclockwise), you get an American sound character with a strong bass foundation and more aggressive mids. Turning it to the right (clockwise) gives you a British sound that is much more earthy and less aggressive.
