The Canyon is stable and compact, a delay with 9 echo and reverb variants as well as a looper in one pedal. The different modes are selected via a knob and can be conveniently edited in the usual way. The little guy is equally capable of hard-hitting digital hack delays and harmonic tape echo simulations with delay times between five milliseconds and three seconds, which can be adjusted to the tempo using the tap function.The sounds sound as usual Electro-Harmonix-like, always a little different from the others, be it that you have the feeling of a slightly smoky occupancy, be it that the shimmer effects come across particularly atmospheric.The fact is that the user has a lot of possibilities to spice up his sound. The hold function for freezing the effect is particularly appealing. Moreover, the looper cuts a very neat figure, even if that is not even the main concern of the small multi-echo. It should not go unmentioned that the necessary mains adapter is also included, which is not necessarily a matter of course in view of the price.
