Tech 21 Bass Boost Fuzz
The Bass Boost Fuzz is a fuzz pedal optimised for the frequency range of the electric bass guitar. In order to maintain the foundation at all times and not lose the bass in the mix, it has a blend control for smooth mixing of original and effect sound. Level“ controls the pedal's volume, „Tone“ acts as a low-pass filter and cuts the highs from 1 kHz to 10 kHz. „Drive“ controls the fuzz part of the sound. The boost function, which can be switched on independently of the fuzz effect, boosts the signal by up to 21 dB at the end of the switching path, making the pedal very suitable as a clean booster, e.g. for solo passages.The fuzz effect goes strongly in the direction of the 60s with its warmth and goodness, friends of modern distortion sounds on the bass will rather find what they are looking for elsewhere. But if you are drawn to sounds like Cream, King Crimson or Muse, you should take a closer look at the Bass Boost Fuzz.
