Using the Ratio, Release and Attack controls, which are also familiar to expensive studio gear, the sound can be nuanced or sharply bent. An LED bar shows the reduction and provides good control over what is happening. As is typical for MXR, both the sound quality and the workmanship are beyond reproach.
