The Soul-Food, a distortion for guitars, was also able to establish itself successfully in the product range of the New York effects manufacturer. So it's no wonder that EHX followed up a few years ago with a distortion for the low-frequency fraction. The Bass Soul Food convinces with a very clear and natural distortion and is exactly the right thing for bass players who want to distort the character of their instrument, but don't want to spoil it. The bass version of the guitar pedal focuses on a crisp response in the low frequency range, a full sound and increased headroom. As is typical for EHX, the pedal comes in a robust die-cast housing that will stand up to demanding touring in any case.
