Like the other models in the series, the Cyclone combines offsets from legendary Fender guitars. We know the body from the Jaguar, a design that enjoyed great popularity in the surf scene in the 60s. After years of a shadowy existence, it was Kurt Cobein (†1994) who helped it to new honours.
In terms of pickup selection and also the headstock, one uses the Stratocaster, probably the most important solid-body in recent music history. Three single-coils provide a corresponding sound, which produces wonderfully crisp tops, especially in the intermediate positions. The pickups are selected via slide switches, which can be considered a Jazzmaster quote.
Quality, execution and playability are at the usual high level of the brand and provide a template for musicians who want to break new ground.
