Squier's Affinity Tele DeLuxe has two double-coil pickups, which produce significantly more output and a more central sound than the single-coil single-coils. The result is a fat and assertive sound, especially in the distorted range, which is just right to adequately serve genres from blues to rock. The signal is processed separately with a volume and a tone control. Especially in the intermediate position, interesting nuances can be tickled out.
The slim neck, balanced vibration behaviour and, last but not least, the solid workmanship make the Affinity Tele DeLuxe an interesting alternative to the otherwise usual entry-level programme.
