LTD EX Black Metal BLKS Black Satin
A triple-glued maple neck, which is continuous, is accompanied by two body wings made of mahogany. This brings foundation and bite to the sound with plenty of sustain, as you would expect from the construction. The Tune-o-Matic bridge with corresponding string suspension also has a positive effect on this approach.
On the pickup side, it continues in exactly the same way. The EMG 81 active pickup makes quite a racket and brings every amp to the boil. From a playing point of view, the pickup feels comfortable. The design allows the right forearm to rest comfortably on the upper horn, while the picking hand has room up to the highest registers thanks to the deep cutaway and ergonomic design of the neck-body junction. The neck has the slim profile typical of LTD, which is also very pleasant to play;
