The mahogany body produces a warm and round basic sound, to which the powerful Alnico-5 humbucker gives the necessary bite. The slim neck with a fairly flat fingerboard is best suited for modern playing techniques from tapping to sweeping. In the rhythm section, the model makes a particularly good figure. Here the pickup plays to its strengths, it is monster riffs á la Black Sabbath or the most modern staccato metal rhythms. The Baretta is an uncompromising rock guitar, that much is certain.
