Jackson is known for building guitars that clearly appeal to rock guitarists of different styles, especially the harder ones. Besides the Rhoads-, King-V or Monarkh-Shapings, the Dinky is one of the most famous designs of the manufacturer. The modern strat form leaves nothing to be desired in terms of ergonomics and ballance, even if you like to strap it on towards the knee height. The DK2 is a solid rock guitar with a few features that at least give it a visual upgrade along the way. A solid poplar body provides a balanced sound. Two Jackson humbuckers with quite high output, suitable for powerful distortion sounds, do their job and are controlled by a 3-position switch. The part "kettles" quite neatly. Jumbo frets, a wide fingerboard and a neck that is flat, even by Jackson standards, invite you to tap, sweep, shred and use all kinds of other wacky playing techniques.
