For some time G&L have built in the Far East and bring with the Tribute series instruments to the start, which remain uncompromisingly faithful to the aforementioned commitment, but are conspicuous by a symphatic price.
The Asat Classic is a Tele, as you imagine it. The sound is typical for this model. Even when played dry, the model develops a remarkable resonance. The user doesn t have to miss the characteristic Tele twang. In the neck position the notes seem to roll off the fretboard, while in the bridge position it is more natural. Responsible for this are the pickups designed by good old Leo himself.
The workmanship is on a high level, the hardware works reliably, the fret field treatment and varnish are impeccably executed.
