The 70s Telecaster Deluxe is so very different from an ordinary Telecaster, which is still considered the archetype of the solidbody guitar. Already in the 60s, people started experimenting with different variations, which culminated in the Deluxe version a decade later. Besides the typical 3-point neck joint and an enlarged headstock, the instrument has two so-called Wide Range Humbuckers, which were specially modernised for the current model. The tone is much fatter than the sisters of past decades, without giving up a good portion of the high frequencies inherent in the design. The legendary Tele Twang is still noticeable. The circuitry is also completely different. Two volume and two tone controls are used for control. The indispensable 3-way switch is located above the neck pickup. This is actually familiar from a completely different design made in the USA.
The instruments, which are made in Mexico, can convince with high quality and offer a lot of guitar for individualists. A deluxe gig bag is included in delivery.
