Fender Vintera '70s Stratocaster, MN Aged Natural

With the Vintera series, Fender updates its Mexican vintage instruments. Besides replicas from the 50s and 60s, there are also models from the heyday of classic rock. The first striking feature is the large headstock. The controversial 3-point neck mounting is also not missing. Fender clearly strives for authenticity. Doubters be assured, thanks to modern manufacturing processes, there is no lack of precision. The pickups with so-called "flat staggered" polepieces are modelled on the originals and produce a balanced resonance over the entire fretboard that is as bright as a bell and crystal clear. The C-profile of the neck feels comfortable and really 70s-like. Vibrato system and machine heads are in the same style. Especially the look is convincing. The flawless Aged Natural finish shows off the ash grain to its best advantage. Conclusion: Strat fans will get their money's worth with the 70s Vintera. Besides, it is an excellent guitar that leaves nothing to be desired.
