Fender Vintera '50s Telecaster Modified, MN Butterscotch Blonde

With the Vintera series, Fender updates its Mexican vintage instruments.
The modified versions combine traditional design with a modern neck profile and fretboard radius, hotter pickups and new electronics.
For a contemporary tone, the manufacturer has given this "classic" beauty two custom shop pickups: a vintage-style bridge pickup and a fat twisted Tele pickup on the neck. Twangy, crisp and articulate, they also sound crisp and snappy.
The „Thick Soft V” neck has a maple fingerboard with 9.5" radius and 21 vintage-style frets. Important for the representation of the Tele Twang is the bridge with three brass tailpieces.
With the electronics Fender has come up with something. A 4-way switch and a button (S-1) integrated in the tone pot offer a lot of design possibilities. Connected in series, the pickups make the Tele sound wide, as if a humbucker was at work. The S-1 switch switches the phase, resulting in an out-of-phase tone.
A deluxe gig bag is included.
