Since Fender first started production in Japan in 1982, instruments have been coming out of the region with increasing regularity, which are designed differently from the usual repertoire of the American giant. Without exception, these are models that meet high standards in terms of playability and workmanship. The Traditional '70s Strat is based on the models of the 70s, clearly recognisable by the large headstock. The neck has a comparatively crisp "U"-profile. The pickups produce crisp tops with a transparent vibration behaviour. A lot of vintage one might think. However, it should not be forgotten that Leo Fender's second stroke of genius was considered to be the most modern electric guitar par excellence and was played in the 70s by such important guitarists as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Richie Blackmore and others.
The Japanese Traditional Stratocaster is a successful alternative to other instruments of the upper middle class, especially since for some people the "Fender"-logo on the headstock simply cannot be missing.
