The first thing that catches the eye is the wacky look. Fender calls the colour "Blue Marlin" and it is a shimmer between metallic blue and a hint of violet. It also has an anodised pickguard and a so-called matched headstock, which is painted the same as the body.
The instrument can also hold its own in terms of equipment. Vintage Noiseless pickups are used, which were first played many years ago by none other than Eric Clapton. Workmanship, hardware and choice of wood leave nothing to be desired. The overall high quality standard of Mexican Fender guitars has been uncompromisingly maintained in this model as well.
