The '59 Journeyman combines characteristic features of the '50s with modern achievements, be it the five-way switch, the reversed pickups or a comfortable, contemporary fretboard radius. The slim "V"-profile of the neck lies well in the hand, if the player does not prefer the ultra-flat necks of Asian shredder guitars. A Stratocaster demands a lot from the guitarist, which is reflected in the end in an individual, expressive tone.
The sound is naturally strummy, lively in the attack, with a creamy finish and a lot of substance.
