The electronics already show the special features mentioned at the beginning. In the bridge position, there is a hand-wound Empire Red Hot Single Coil, which is a little "hotter" and more mid-range, while in the neck position, the user can look forward to a Powertron Humbucker. This pickup, which is more commonly found at Gretsch, is less fat than the traditional PAFs of another American wholesaler and fits perfectly with the Empire Red Hot at the bridge. The sound is correspondingly less twangy than the standard tees of the 50s, but still very assertive with a lot of punch.
To make the individual touch perfect, the model has been given a left-handed neck, which results in a reversed headstock. A light, slightly aged binding adorns the top of the guitar and the artificial ageing (Relic) is once again natural and tasteful.
The 52 Tele in the present version is without question a top-class instrument that is aimed at demanding individualists.
