You don't have to guess for a long time for which style of music the Pro-Mod So-Cal by Charvel was made. About 40 years ago, some manufacturers began to implement the desire of the hard rock and emerging metal scene for "hot rod" high-performance guitars. So-called superstrats were created, equipped with one or two humbuckers. In this case, the designers opted for a fixed bridge, whose string guide from behind through the body generates more sustain. Charvel was one of the pioneers of the new design at the time and still delivers excellent playable metal axes with assertive, extremely powerful sound, like the Pro Mod San-Dimas.
