The model features a specially developed LR Baggs / PRS Piezo system and offers musicians the possibility to use both acoustic and electric tones in one instrument.Two separate volume controls (magnetics and piezo) and output jacks (mix / piezo and magnetics) allow the 58/15 „S“ pickups to be mixed with the acoustic tones of the piezo. Alternatively, the jacks can be connected separately, allowing the guitar to route magnetic pickups into an amplifier and the piezo through an acoustic amplifier or DI. Using the magnetic output jack in isolation completely bypasses the piezo battery. In this scenario, the magnetic pickups will still work even if the piezo battery runs out of juice.
